Data Engineer

You will build and maintain data platforms and monitoring tools for risk and data science solutions within a Big Data environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data platforms and data-driven monitoring tools.
• Implement lifecycle monitoring on Java-based platforms and collaborate with partner teams to build solution dependencies.
• Document and implement processes, procedures, and policies for live monitoring and data investigation.
• Identify improvement opportunities with business impact.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or building data processing platforms.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting.
• Ability to work with teams across different locations.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
• Experience using monitoring tools such as DataDog.
• Background in finance, fintech, or banking domains.
