You will design and implement data processing, storage, and delivery solutions for complex business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead design sessions with engineering and product teams to produce technical documentation for data solutions.
• Implement data pipelines and solutions using Python, Scala, Go, and cloud-native technologies.
• Evaluate new technologies through Proof of Concepts (POCs) and provide technical recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers and facilitate cross-team efforts like release planning and Scrum of Scrums.
• Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including code reviews, integration testing, and maintaining documentation in GitHub.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, and Go.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Kafka.
• Experience with data warehouse databases such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native data processing and streaming principles.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience working within Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
• Ability to build data models using statistical or mathematical programming packages.
• Strong technical documentation skills using GitHub or similar repositories.

Preferred Skills

• Power BI and Power Apps development experience.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
