Description

Design and build scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into storage systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for performance and scalability.
• Integrate data from databases, warehouses, APIs, and external systems ensuring integrity.
• Transform raw data using cleansing, aggregation, filtering, and enrichment techniques.
• Implement data quality checks and validations for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and tune data systems to resolve bottlenecks via caching and indexing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, C#, and Java.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
• Experience with Power BI for analytics and reporting.
• Deep understanding of data integration, master data management, and governance.
• Experience with prescriptive and predictive modeling analytics.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Proven capability in critical thinking, research, and trend recognition within complex datasets.
