You will build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers enterprise decision-making.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into storage systems.
• Integrate data from databases, data warehouses, APIs, and external systems while ensuring consistency and integrity through validation.
• Optimize data pipelines and processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Monitor and tune data systems, resolving bottlenecks and implementing strategies like caching to boost query speed.
• Own data quality checks within pipelines to guarantee data accuracy and completeness for enterprise insights.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, focusing on data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, SQL, C#, and Java.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data warehousing solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies: Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, CosmosDB, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and data quality practices.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to identify opportunities in complex data.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Hadoop/HDInsight ecosystems.
