Description

You design and build data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into storage systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Integrate data from databases, data warehouses, APIs, and external systems.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity through validation and cleaning.
• Transform raw data using cleansing, aggregation, filtering, and enrichment techniques.
• Optimize pipelines and workflows for performance and scalability.
• Monitor systems, resolve bottlenecks, and implement indexing strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, including data modelling and ETL/ELT.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, and C#.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Familiarity with SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of data quality checks and governance practices.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for various audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Power BI.
