Description

You will build, enhance, and maintain monitoring capabilities using Python and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop datasets and microservices to support monitoring solutions and automation for issue detection.
• Transform data to enable machine learning and anomaly monitoring.
• Consume metadata to enable anomaly alarms and monitoring.
• Liaise with designers, engineers, and support teams to improve data pipeline performance and reliability.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
• 3+ years of experience with development, operations, or architecture in AWS using Python.
• Extensive experience with serverless design in AWS.
• Hands-on experience delivering microservices using S3, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, and IAM.
• Strong competency in unit testing to coverage standards and integration testing.
• Bachelor's degree in computer programming or a relevant field with 5-7 years of experience, or an Associate degree with 10+ years of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with object-oriented development, design patterns, and productionizing machine learning workloads.
• AWS technical certifications such as Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Associate.
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch/ELK, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
