Description

You design and build data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into storage systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from databases, data warehouses, APIs, and external systems.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, cleansing, aggregation, and enrichment to ensure consistency and integrity.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Apply data modelling, master data management, and governance principles.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall experience in data engineering, including ETL/ELT and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, and C#.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies: Synapse, CosmosDB, HDInsight, Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks, and Power BI.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Critical and creative thinking skills applied to complex data analysis.
• Experience advising decision-makers and influencing outcomes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in a similar data engineering role.
