Description

You will build, test, and maintain scalable data management systems and architecture to support mortgage banking decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and maintain highly scalable data management systems and architecture.
• Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, and predictive models to meet business requirements.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed software designs and architecture.
• Integrate new data management technologies and engineering tools into existing structures.
• Maintain a secure and compliant data processing environment following industry regulations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering with deep expertise in IBM InfoSphere DataStage and SQL Server.
• Strong experience in ETL processes, specifically leveraging MS SSIS and IBM DataStage.
• Proficiency with SQL, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, RDS, MSK, and Lambda.
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as dbt, Apache Kafka, and Snowflake data streams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of financial and mortgage banking principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BKFS (Black Knight Financial Services) or MSP.
• Prior experience in the mortgage banking industry.
• Knowledge of object-oriented or object-function scripting languages.
