Responsibilities

• Design, construct, test, and maintain data management systems and custom software components.
• Build predictive models, prototypes, and high-performance algorithms.
• Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
• Integrate new data management and software engineering technologies into existing structures.
• Implement disaster recovery procedures to improve data reliability and quality.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as SQL and MySQL.
• Experience with non-relational databases including NoSQL, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
• Experience programming or architecting with backend languages like Java or J2EE.
• Knowledge of data mining practices and algorithms.
• Ability to create analytics applications and custom software components.
• Technical degree or equivalent professional work experience.
