You will design and build scalable data platforms and tools to manage, secure, and process data at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support data solutions, APIs, and tools for rapid business delivery.
• Collaborate with IT application teams and enterprise architecture to translate technical strategies into data-driven solutions.
• Address system design, performance, integration, and security challenges.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, self-service build tools, and automated deployment processes.
• Research banking industry trends, data engineering architecture, and security best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Recent experience in the banking domain.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Strong experience with Java (language and runtime environment).
• Experience with REST API design and development.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and data lakes.
• Fundamental understanding of distributed computing principles.
• Understanding of application and data security concepts, best practices, and common vulnerabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
