You will design and implement enterprise data architectures and scalable cloud-based solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy data pipelines for streaming use cases and real-time analytics.
• Design Azure-based technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations.
• Implement automation tools and CI/CD pipelines to streamline infrastructure provisioning.
• Develop enterprise standards for data domains to ensure simplified integration.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges related to data product infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Expertise in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services: Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Functions.
• Proven experience building lakehouses, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Experience with Kafka or other event streaming mechanisms.
• Proficiency with public cloud platforms including Azure and AWS.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automating infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and design patterns.
• Ability to work in person in Cincinnati, OH, at least three days per week.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Certifications at Associate or Expert levels for Data Services.
• Experience building AI/ML solutions.
• Software development experience in Java, Go, JavaScript, or C++.
