Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines in a complex systems environment, focusing on integration, movement, and legacy code verification.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data integration and movement patterns using ETL tools.
• Develop and debug complex SQL queries against relational databases.
• Execute and support data processes by scripting in Shell environments.
• Understand, compile, and verify the functionality of existing COBOL code.
• Apply data modeling principles to structure and manage data assets.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Data engineering and data warehousing.
• 7+ years working with Relational Databases, preferably Oracle.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and debugging complex queries.
• 5+ years using ETL tools like Informatica for data integration.
• 5+ years experience with Shell scripting (K-Shell, Bash).
• 5+ years working on Linux or AIX.
• Ability to read and understand COBOL and Pro*C code.
• Solid grasp of data modeling and domain-based design.
• Experience operating within Agile frameworks (Kanban/Scrum).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Airflow.
