Description

You design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and transformations within Snowflake.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Streams, Tasks, Materialized Views, and Dashboards for scheduled and real-time data operations.
• Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments using Jenkins.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable data models.
• Implement data quality, lineage, and governance frameworks aligned with HIPAA and PHI/PII standards.
• Monitor pipeline performance, proactively optimizing workloads and resource utilization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in data engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years with Snowflake Data Cloud (Streams, Tasks, Dashboards, Materialized Views).
• Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization).
• Proficiency in Python, using Snowpark for transformations.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of data modeling (Kimball, Data Vault, or 3NF).
• Experience with data governance, lineage, and metadata tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dbt or Kafka for orchestration.
• Familiarity with Great Expectations or Monte Carlo.
