Description

You will design, build, and manage end-to-end data engineering platforms and BI reporting solutions. You own the full project lifecycle from requirement scoping through to production launch.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logical and physical database schemas for transactional and data warehouse environments.
• Develop enterprise ETL, analytics, and reporting pipelines using SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Build data engineering platforms in Python to support data science and analytics teams.
• Collaborate with users, technical teams, and management to collect requirements and provide accurate estimates.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in RDBMS design, development, and data normalization.
• 5+ years of enterprise ETL, analytics, and reporting experience (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
• Expert-level SQL skills, including T-SQL, UDF, UDAF, Views, Triggers, and Stored Procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB.
• 3+ years of Azure experience using ADLS, Azure Data Factory, and Automation.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
• Experience with NoSQL databases and consuming data from Kafka streaming platforms.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Git, TFS, and Visual Studio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing BI Reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Knowledge of the Education or Aviation industries.
