Description

You will design and deliver large-scale data ingestion and transformation pipelines for cloud-hosted applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver data solutions using Azure Data services.
• Build and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions across the full project lifecycle.
• Optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
• Coach novice developers and communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake.
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Advanced RDBMS experience with query optimization, partitioning, and clustering.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, ODI, or Talend.
• Hands-on experience with BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
• Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle from concept to deployment and support.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Programming experience with Python.
• Experience working with offshore teams and consultancy environments.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
