Description

You will design, build, and maintain complex ELT jobs to deliver business value within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ELT jobs ingesting data from disparate sources into data lakes and warehouses.
• Translate high-level business requirements into technical specifications.
• Cleanse, enrich, and apply data quality controls to all ingested datasets.
• Develop reusable tools to streamline new project delivery.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and reference architectures.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
• Deep understanding of ELT methodologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience with Python and CI/CD.
• Proficiency with Kafka and Apache Spark.
• Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in cloud environments like AWS.
• Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Experience with reporting tools including Microstrategy, Tableau, or Looker.
