Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and platform components using Core Java and Spring Boot. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and expose RESTful services and APIs with business logic for frontend applications and external integrations.
• Implement data modelling, SQL development, and data integration logic to support analytics workflows.
• Deliver and support releases through CI/CD pipelines using Maven and Jenkins, including production issue resolution.
• Write clean, well-documented code with strong unit testing using Mockito and effective debugging.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java development for Java-based backend services.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC for building RESTful services.
• SQL scripting and data modelling, including Hibernate and JDBC Template for persistence.
• Experience with build and test tools including Maven, Jenkins, and Mockito.
• Version control using Git or TFS; IDE experience with IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• ETL development experience.
• Exposure to AWS services.
• Experience with messaging/streaming platforms such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
