Description

You will design and maintain data pipelines, governance frameworks, and storage architectures for telecom data. You own the end-to-end data lifecycle from ingestion to consumption, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL for batch and streaming data.
• Implement data modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and manage schema evolution for relational and streaming sources.
• Configure Azure cloud storage zones (Raw, Curated, Processed) and enforce RBAC/IAM access controls.
• Automate data governance workflows, including PII classification, retention policies, and metadata management.
• Integrate Adobe XDM and Real-Time CDP governance requirements into the data platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and ETL concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services, specifically ADLS and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Kafka or Event Hubs for real-time data processing.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBoK) and telecom regulatory rules (PII, CPNI, GDPR, SOX).
• Experience with data cataloging tools (Purview, Collibra, Informatica).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-driven governance automation and Adobe Real-Time CDP integration.
• Ability to translate business rules into technical data rules and align with stakeholders.
