Description

You will build, manage, and migrate cloud data warehouse architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design databases and implement dimensional data modeling.
• Execute cloud database migrations from Teradata or Netezza to Snowflake.
• Manage Snowflake features including Data Sharing, Streams, Tasks, BAC, DAC, Time Travel, and zero-copy fail-safe.
• Optimize Oracle 11g/12c environments using PL/SQL and performance tuning.
• Operate within AWS and Redshift cloud data warehouse environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• SnowPro Core Certification (Snowflake Architecture and Migration to Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake on AWS.
• Proficiency in Oracle 11g/12c and PL/SQL.
• Experience with MPP databases, specifically Netezza or Mako.
• Proven track record of cloud database migrations.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud platforms and Redshift.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating from Teradata to Snowflake.
