Description

Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and Datastage.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build ETL data assets in AWS S3 and Snowflake, implementing ELT transformations via dbt and Python.
• Migrate existing data assets from IBM Datastage, Informatica, and on-prem databases like Netezza to the cloud.
• Create and manage data pipelines that support CI/CD workflows.
• Develop logical and physical data models in collaboration with project and business analysts.
• Debug, test, and support data applications using dbt macros and Datastage.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency with Snowflake and AWS S3.
• Hands-on experience building ELT pipelines with dbt.
• Strong background in IBM Datastage and/or Informatica.
• Basic Python scripting skills.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Control-M and VS Code Copilot.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with on-prem databases such as Netezza.
• Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling techniques.
