Description

Build and deliver quality data software products through iterative development and agile methodologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software products by collaborating with Product Managers, Technical Anchors, and other Data Engineers.
• Mentor and train team members in agile methods and technical skill development.
• Drive software engineering excellence through pair programming and adherence to best practices.
• Communicate technology strategy and vision to stakeholders and team members.
• Manage DevOps activities to support release cycles and production environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a data engineering role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Vertex AI.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, and GitHub.
• Experience with databases including Teradata and Hadoop.
• Strong background in cloud computing, distributed systems, and OO Design Principles.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
