Description

You build and maintain data warehouse objects and analytical models in GCP BigQuery to support business objectives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create raw data warehouse objects and analytical models in BigQuery for scalable data access.
• Collaborate with ingestion and infrastructure teams to land and transform data within the Data Factory.
• Develop data models with Finance and MP&L subject matter experts to reflect business information flows.
• Profile PII and SPII data elements to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Contribute to application screening, data catalog creation, and development of data standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency with SQL and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery.
• Experience creating data models and data products.
• Experience with data transformation tools such as Cloud Data Fusion, dbt, Dataform, or Informatica BDM.
• Ability to break down complex problems into actionable implementation plans.
• Strong communication skills for documenting processes and presenting findings to technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience developing and maintaining data standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Alteryx, Qlik Sense, Hadoop, Hive, R, or Python.
• Experience working with data in SAP S/4HANA.
