Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines within an Azure cloud environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL processes and data transformation tasks using PySpark, SQL, and Python.
• Manage data processing workflows using Azure Databricks and Spark.
• Implement data warehousing and data modeling solutions.
• Maintain version control and deployment pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Ensure data security through RBAC and compliance standards.

Required Skills

• 3–7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer focusing on Azure cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake).
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (Dedicated and Serverless SQL Pools).
• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and big data processing.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of data security and RBAC.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of total professional experience.
