Description

You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services, focusing on Redshift, Glue, S3, and Athena.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data workflows using Apache Iceberg or similar open table formats.
• Migrate and maintain legacy integrations involving Siebel, Talend, and Informatica.
• Implement data governance standards using tools like Atlan, Collibra, or Alation.
• Establish data quality checks using Soda or equivalent frameworks.
• Apply strong data modeling and warehousing principles to big data architectures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and pipeline development.
• Deep expertise with AWS Redshift, Glue, S3, and Athena.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; working knowledge of Spark.
• Experience with open table formats such as Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, or Hudi.
• Knowledge of data governance platforms (Atlan, Collibra, or Alation).
• Solid understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
