Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. This role covers end-to-end data engineering, from ingestion and transformation to modeling and delivery of curated datasets for self-service analytics.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes and dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas) for reporting and analytics.
• Build and manage data workflows using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, and troubleshooting for data pipelines to ensure reliability.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI and DAX, and develop descriptive/predictive models using Python or R.
• Automate deployments and testing using CI/CD pipelines and Git, ensuring data quality and governance.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data analytics.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-premises environments.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, for dashboarding and reporting.
• Knowledge of data architecture, ETL/ELT concepts, and data migration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Public Sector experience is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other cloud-native databases.
• Exposure to AI/ML tools, frameworks, or advanced analytics practices.
