Data Engineer

You will own large-scale data migrations and maintain data store and streaming services applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute data migrations across cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Migrate Cassandra instances from EC2 to AWS Keyspaces.
• Design, code, test, and perform analysis on data architectures.
• Provide production support and sustainment activities.
• Implement analytics-based solutions using data structures and algorithms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Expertise in Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and Oracle GG.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Keyspaces, S3, RDS, EBS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Proven track record with large-scale cloud data migrations.
• Experience using GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Confluent Kafka and Big Data technologies.
