Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytics applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and tune RDBMS technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or SingleStore.
• Design and document Entity-Relationship (ER) and Dimensional data models.
• Build and maintain ETL processes using PowerCenter, Informatica Data Replication (IDR), or webMethods.
• Create analytics applications using Power BI, QlikView, SAS, or RapidMiner.
• Manage Unix files, commands, and scripts within a Unix/Linux environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or SingleStore.
• Strong understanding of ER and Dimensional modeling.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience prototyping and piloting cloud solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science or MIS.

Preferred Skills

• 2-3 years of experience with Kimball methodology for Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Mart design.
• 2-3 years of ETL development experience using PowerCenter or Informatica.
• Experience with ERWIN and Unix/Linux operating system concepts.
