Description

Design and deliver enterprise-scale ETL solutions supporting data transformation and business intelligence.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of data ingestion, curation, aggregation, and transformation across operational and analytics systems.
• Build processes for data structures, metadata, quality controls, and workload management.
• Translate functional requirements from business partners into technical designs and schema objects.
• Optimize query performance for large datasets across RDBMS, Hadoop backend systems, and BI tools.
• Assemble complex datasets to meet functional reporting requirements and build reporting applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related IT occupation.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and ETL design.
• Experience with Hadoop and Hive ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling.
• Experience creating SQL schema objects, complex attributes, and metrics.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience using qTest or Client-ALM.
• Ability to develop Tableau dashboards and Excel reports.
• Knowledge of tuning query performance, caching, and aggregate structures.

Preferred Skills

• Banking and Markets business acumen.
• Experience with MicroStrategy.
