Description

You will own the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data pipelines and warehousing solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage idempotent ETL processes using Azure Data Factory dataflows and Pipelines.
• Design ETL architecture, providing input for implementation and automation strategies.
• Investigate data quality issues, perform root cause analysis on production problems, and propose solutions.
• Test ETL system code, data design, and pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate across departments to coordinate data efforts and translate project requirements into detailed ETL specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience focused on Data Warehousing.
• 5+ years developing ETL using Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, or Azure Data Factory.
• 2+ years of specific experience creating pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• 5+ years of experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server).
• 3+ years creating stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server T-SQL, or Snowflake SQL.
• 2+ years processing structured and unstructured data.
• 2+ years experience with source control systems like GitHub or SVN.
• Ability to optimize data movement from source through to rest in the database.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of batch or PowerShell scripting.
• 2+ years of Python scripting.
