Description

You will build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines. You will engineer practical solutions for complex data problems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines according to functional and architectural specifications.
• Incorporate logging, instrumentation, and high-performance practices into pipeline design.
• Manage data sets within Data Marts for Business Unit analysts.
• Produce and maintain engineering and operational documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate with Software Engineers, Data Architects, and Data Analysts.
• Experience working alongside Project Managers, QA Analysts, and Database Administrators.
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a closely related field.
• Willingness to travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work effectively under supervision.
