Description

You will manage cloud migrations from on-prem SQL Server to Azure SQL and design end-to-end data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud migration projects from on-prem SQL Server to Azure SQL with minimal downtime.
• Design, develop, and enhance ETL processes using Azure Data Factory to integrate diverse data sources.
• Build Power BI reports, dashboards, and custom solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Optimize query performance and resolve bottlenecks through indexing strategies and resource utilization.
• Implement database security, encryption, and auditing mechanisms to ensure compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or database administration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Transact-SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
• Extensive experience with Power BI development, including DAX and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform, including Canvas/model-driven apps, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Solid understanding of relational database design, tuning, and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience working with Web APIs, including SOAP and REST.
• Proficiency with GIT, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to use Azure Insights, Monitoring, DMVs, and Query Store for troubleshooting.
• Experience managing SharePoint integration within data workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Power BI certifications.
