Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform to support analytics and storage requirements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and BigQuery solutions for structured and unstructured data.
• Develop data integration processes using GCP services, Cloud Functions, Data Fusion, and Airflow/Astronomer.
• Implement data quality, performance optimization, monitoring, and automation to ensure efficient data workflows.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and cloud-native technologies to enhance developer productivity.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering and cloud-based data platform development.
• Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Data Fusion.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Astronomer.
• Proven track record of building scalable data pipelines and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Gemini Code Assist.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data ingestion and transformation at scale.
• Knowledge of cloud AI services integration.
