Description

You will design, implement, and maintain data movement, dashboarding, and analytical assets within an enterprise Data Lake and Data Warehouse environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test data pipelines, ingestion, storage, and modeling processes using Azure technologies.
• Define architecture for enterprise data warehouses and evaluate architectural options for large-scale programs.
• Partner with business units to gather requirements and design functional and non-functional data solutions.
• Collaborate with ITS Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure development and deployment.
• Mentor agile team members and interface with Product Managers to define and estimate features.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in business application design, development, or solution architecture.
• Extensive experience with Databricks.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Log Analytics, Synapse, Power BI, and ADLS Gen2.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, data classification, and data movement.
• Strong understanding of architecture practices for large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of computer, storage, and network components including backup, monitoring, and DR requirements.
• Ability to develop system documentation following SAFe Agile principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python and API architecture in Azure.
• SAFe certification or training.
