Description

You will design and build data platforms, integration frameworks, and APIs in Scala for Business Intelligence applications. You will handle large-scale data volumes and implement REST-based services across cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver scalable APIs using Scala.
• Design and implement REST-based services.
• Process and manage large-scale data volumes efficiently.
• Build data platforms and integration frameworks.
• Collaborate in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) teams to deliver development stories.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Scala.
• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile practices: Iterative Development, Refactoring, Unit Testing.
• Experience with Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern web technologies for BI applications.
