Description

You will build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to manage large volumes of data.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to collect and store data from various sources.
• Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts to support analytics and reporting.
• Optimize database queries and processes for performance and efficiency.
• Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within data pipelines and infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks like Apache Airflow or Talend.
• Understanding of data modeling principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Preferred Skills

• Collaboration experience with data scientists and analysts to provide structured and unstructured data for modeling.
