Description

You will build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes within a cloud environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver solutions based on data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all pipelines.
• Optimize data processes for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues to implement permanent fixes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Experience with Cloud Composer and ETL tools.
• Practical knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and database design.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
