Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines for a One Data Lake Platform within a GCP environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Pull data from structured sources into the data lake.
• Develop ETL processes using Scala without external tooling.
• Execute all development work within a GCP environment.
• Manage data workflows specifically within a cloud-native architecture.

Required Skills

• Professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Scala for active development.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience working within Cloud environments.
• Ability to perform ETL tasks without relying on specific third-party tooling.
• Experience working in GCP or other major cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of structured data source integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience transitioning from Hadoop to cloud-native architectures.
