Description

You will build and manage data-driven reporting solutions and information systems to solve specific business use cases.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret data to develop data mappings, database specifications, and technical documentation.
• Design and manage information systems to generate accurate, comprehensive reports on operational data.
• Access, trace, and remediate data issues using SQL and AWS tools.
• Develop scripts to automate data extraction and visualize outputs via Tableau.
• Support DevOps and engineering teams with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure data flow quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional work experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying complex datasets and multiple data sources.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, SNS/SQS, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with AWS data tools such as Redshift and Athena.
• Experience with Node.js for data-related development.
• Strong knowledge of relational and columnar databases and data modeling.
• Experience developing and implementing testing strategies and test scenarios.
• Ability to build reporting assets and interfaces using Tableau or Tableau Server.
• Degree in an analytical field or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Background in hands-on development of web-based reporting applications.
