Description

You will design, build, and maintain complex data pipelines and internal data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics. You own the architecture and implementation of data storage and reporting solutions on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design data schemas and operate SQL/NoSQL database systems for business intelligence.
• Implement, automate, optimize, and monitor data pipelines for complex processing workflows.
• Manage Redshift, Spectrum, and EMR infrastructure while driving architectural plans for future storage solutions.
• Interface with technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
• Conduct rapid prototyping and proof of concepts for new data engineering solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining complex data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Strong background in data warehousing and working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in AWS services: Redshift, EMR, S3, Lambda, and Glue.
• Experience with big data technologies including Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database skills.
• Expertise in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Understanding of data modeling, analytics applications, and metrics generation.
