Description

You will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based data products and features for internal and external customers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features and architectural solutions using data-driven best practices.
• Maintain the security and stability of existing platforms, frameworks, and data solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues across all severity levels and manage them through to resolution.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and release.
• Develop technical documentation such as system context diagrams, design documents, and release procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a data engineering role.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Azure data services including Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, and SQL DB.
• Strong working knowledge of Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Expertise in working with databases and SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a STEM major.
• Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with code management and CI/CD systems like Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience with IoT Data Standards like Project Haystack, Brick Schema, or Real Estate Core.
