Description

You build and maintain end-to-end data pipeline solutions on cloud infrastructure, focusing on stability, security, and performance for banking functions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Python, AWS, Redshift, and EMR.
• Structure software for easy understanding, testing, and evolution while maintaining high code quality.
• Build solutions that avoid single points of failure using scalable architectural patterns.
• Develop secure code to protect against threats and promptly fix issues to ensure system stability.
• Monitor performance, optimize data writing and reading processes, and support products through their full lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience with Public Cloud engineering concepts.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS services and big data technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Python and building data pipelines.
• Experience with Redshift and EMR.
• Understanding of distributed systems, database systems, and security best practices.
• Ability to write secure code and ensure zero-downtime releases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Strong experience with EMR and AWS Certifications (Networking Specialty, Developer Associate, or Solutions Architect Associate).
• Knowledge of application resiliency patterns, data governance, and observability practices.
