Description

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and system stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end data pipeline solutions on cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.
• Structure software for maintainability, testing, and evolution while adhering to code quality standards.
• Design scalable architectures that eliminate single points of failure.
• Develop secure code to protect against threats and promptly investigate and fix production issues.
• Optimize data reading and writing processes to meet performance requirements and ensure zero-downtime releases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in public cloud engineering concepts.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Redshift and EMR.
• Understanding of data pipelines and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud engineering principles.

Preferred Skills

• Strong experience with EMR.
• AWS Certifications: Networking Specialty, Developer Associate, or Solutions Architect Associate.
• Understanding of database internals, design patterns, and modern data platform observability.
