Description

Build and maintain data pipelines, event-driven integrations, and backend services for compliance-critical systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement logical and physical data models and ETL/ELT pipelines to consolidate compliance data.
• Build event-driven integration components including Lambda functions and Step Functions workflows.
• Develop backend services for APIs, workflow orchestrations, and dashboard backends.
• Write, test, and deploy secure, maintainable production code with comprehensive monitoring.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and encryption for sensitive regulatory datasets.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of data engineering experience in data modeling, pipeline development, and data warehouse design.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, DynamoDB).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience building components with appropriate encryption and access controls.
• Ability to maintain production systems with alarming and logging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architectures using EventBridge or SQS/SNS.
• Familiarity with serverless development patterns and infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance or telecommunications domains.
