Description

Own large-scale data migrations and reverse-engineer legacy systems to modern AWS data architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute large-scale data migrations using AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lambda.
• Write complex, highly optimized SQL and perform deep-dive data analysis.
• Reverse-engineer undocumented legacy systems using tools like Informatica and SSIS.
• Design dimensional models, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing structures.
• Build validation dashboards and AI agents for code refactoring and migration tracking.

Required Skills

• 3+ years professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation and automation.
• Strong SQL skills with a focus on query optimization.
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and legacy tools (Informatica, SSIS).
• Deep understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with Salesforce Data Loader, Bulk API, and AWS-Salesforce data flows.
• Experience building validation dashboards in QuickSight or Tableau.
• Proven success in reverse-engineering legacy analytical applications with sparse documentation.
