Description

You will manage data incident response and root cause analysis to maintain system health.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Slack channels to diagnose issues and implement technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve data incidents and improve handling practices.
• Identify potential data issues proactively and suggest preventive measures.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and technical learnings to facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Summarize incident findings for senior stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or incident management.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL processes.
• Foundational understanding of data warehouse architecture.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Hadoop or Spark.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
• Proven ability to solve problems under pressure in ambiguous environments.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical teams.
