Description

You will build and maintain the data infrastructure required for large-scale data science operations in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and generate infrastructure to enable big data access and analysis.
• Prepare raw data for manipulation by data scientists.
• Reformulate existing frameworks to optimize performance and functionality.
• Test data structures to ensure they are fit for use and correct errors as they arise.
• Liaise with coworkers and clients to define requirements for specific tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer, software developer, or in a similar role.
• Expert proficiency in Python, C++, Java, R, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Hadoop or equivalent big data technologies.
• Ability to manage a pipeline of duties with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in data engineering, big data analytics, computer engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
