Description

You will design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and population processes for Azure SQL Server Databases.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement processes to ingest data from various sources, including REST APIs.
• Create new report aggregation tables using optimized and efficient methods.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to populate Azure SQL databases.
• Execute advanced engineering assignments with limited supervision and independent judgment.
• Collaborate with team members to drive projects to completion.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Extensive Microsoft SQL Server expertise managing large data sizes.
• Advanced SQL skills including stored procedures, tables, views, CTEs, and partitioning.
• Proficiency in creating SSIS packages for efficient ETL/ELT workflows.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory Pipelines and Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Databases and other Azure services.
• Ability to ingest data via REST APIs.
• Experience with SSRS and PowerBI reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently without detailed instructions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
