Description

Design and build a greenfield commercial analytics platform on Microsoft Azure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud architecture and patterns for a modular, reusable analytics compute environment.
• Ingest structured data from diverse sources using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage gen 2.
• Build extensible compute environments using Azure Databricks for end-user consumption and Power BI integration.
• Develop documentation, templates, scripts, and wrapper APIs to enable rapid data analyst onboarding.
• Manage CI/CD and release management workflows using GitHub and Jenkins integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Data Lake Storage gen 2 (ADLS2).
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform and cloud architecture design.
• 3+ years of experience with API systems and analytics platform infrastructure work.
• 3+ years of experience with a relevant language such as Python, Scala, Java, or Go.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), OIDC, and OAuth2 methods.
• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Kubernetes secrets, or HashiCorp Vault.
• Experience with cloud monitoring using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Cosmos DB, SQL Server, or Power BI.
• Experience writing Spark jobs in Scala or working with AI/ML in Azure.
• Experience in the healthcare industry handling PHI/PII or integrating with EPIC, Hadoop, and Oracle.
