Description

You will design and implement data processing, storage, and delivery solutions to meet business needs. You will lead design sessions with engineering, data science, and product teams to produce technical documentation and align roadmaps with product owners and data stewards.

Responsibilities

• Implement data solutions using cloud services, streaming tools, and various programming languages.
• Evaluate new technologies through proofs of concept and provide technical recommendations.
• Facilitate code reviews, integration testing, and retrospectives to improve delivery quality.
• Communicate complex qualitative analysis to technical and executive audiences.

Required Skills

• Experience with Kafka, Spark, and AWS SQS.
• Proficiency with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, Fargate, and Athena.
• Experience with BigQuery and GCP PubSub.
• Strong background in building data models using R, Python, or other statistical programming packages.
• Engineering experience with data-intensive software using streaming and resource-based design principles.
• Expertise in software development best practices including version control, code documentation, and database management.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with cloud-native data warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• Power BI and Power Apps development skills.
• Experience working within global multi-disciplinary teams.
