Description

You will build and maintain complex data pipelines and sources within a Snowflake and Azure environment. You own the full data lifecycle, from ingestion to optimization for BI and Data Science teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure and Snowflake.
• Create SQL stored procedures and functions to execute complex data transformations.
• Design logical and physical data models to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Manage code deployment and CI/CD pipeline automation using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Tune and optimize data processes and large-volume datasets for downstream consumption.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in hands-on data engineering.
• Expertise in SQL, including complex queries and optimization.
• Extensive experience with Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Blobs, Functions, and Key Vault.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices.
• Proven experience with ETL/ELT patterns, Change Data Capture (CDC), and SCD logic.
• Proficiency in code lifecycle management using Git and GitHub.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform, Python, Spark, and CI/CD automation.
• Ability to build real-time analytics pipelines using Snowpipe Streaming.
• Experience optimizing data models for visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
